ALUMS ARE GRATEFUL

Christine, a single mother wrote:

“The teachers gave me hope and I got my high school diploma in 2008.  Now, for 13 years I have been a cook in the food service sector of the NYC Board of Education.  Eventually, I hope to study mental health in order to give back.”

Van, an ESL student, migrated from Vietnam.  She wrote to us from Texas:

“It is wonderful that I can make friends and communicate with everyone. Moreover, I also got a job to contribute to society and take care of my life. To be thankful for that I sent the check attached here.  It is very meaningful because this is the first one hundred hour money that I earned in the U. S. “
