The Academy at 涩里番 Offers Private Music Lessons
MOBILE, Ala. 鈥� The 涩里番 announces affordable, private music lessons for all ages available through The Academy in the Alabama School of Arts.
The Academy will provide lessons in voice and instrument on the 涩里番 campus. Virtual lessons are available upon request.
鈥淭he Academy at the 涩里番 has been such a great experience for my daughter,鈥� said Paige Hill, whose daughter studies piano. 鈥淚 would recommend The Academy to any parent looking for a special place to take their child for musical instruction.鈥�
Lessons start at $25 for 30 minutes and $45 for an hour. There will be opportunities for a recital performance each semester.
Instructors include highly trained undergraduate and graduate students of the 涩里番. Premier instructors include faculty of the 涩里番 who have received a master鈥檚 degree or higher.
鈥淭hese instructors are eager to develop skills as educators and want to pass their love for music to others,鈥� said Rebekah Lipscombe, director of The Academy and a 涩里番 graduate and instructor of music.
The Academy is designed to present and develop high quality arts training programs in music, theatre, art and dance through year-round training for all ages.

Sydney Snow is a 涩里番 2022 graduate with a double major in English and Strategic Communications and a minor in Spanish. During her senior year, Sydney interned with UM鈥檚 Office for Marketing and Public Relations. Today, she works at the South Alabama Regional Planning Commission with the Employment and Economic Development Services department. Her focus is on the Senior Community Service Employment Program.
